I was on my campaign trail to Batu Lanchang two nights ago. At the polical rally was Dr Teng Hock Nan and other past and present BN leaders from both MCA and Gerakan. Candidates for Batu Lanchang and Dato Keramat, Ng Fook On and Ong Thean Lye, walked in when Dr Teng was giving his rousing speech in hokkien.
He was heard telling the audience 'to make Ng Fook On work since he is willing and hardworking'. Batu Lanchang was an opposition stronghold until the 2004 general election when Ng upstaged Danny Law by a mere 139 votes. Can the feat be repeated?
