A Black Day for Democracy If This is True

NST reported, "Sultan Azlan Shah did not consent to the dissolution of state assembly and has asked Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin and his exco line-up to resign with immediate effect."

If this is true, the RH's decision will trigger a political free for all in Malaysia. What stops the BN federal government from toppling if Anwar can get the numbers?

Second, the formation of the MACC is really a cruel joke for the country. From Dr Mahathir to some very senior UMNO leaders have warned against the cancerous money politics. This incident is going to amplify the magnitude of corruption.

Third, BN the ruling coalition since independence shows no remorse and no commitment toward the strengthening of democracy in this country. PM Abdullah reform plans deserved their rightful place - the dustbin.

Malaysia's biggest problem is our mindset. Until and unless we change what is up there, Malaysia will not recover from its mediocrity.

History will be your judge. We must record this incident and put it up as one of the darkest hours of Malaysian history.

The darkest! I am a 48 year old man and it did not enter my mind that this thing would happen after the Sabah episode. Even Anwar's Sept 16th, I prayed it would not happen. Najib and BN, this is what I say, "You win Perak, you lose this nation!"

Thanks to RPK, many have come to think they can trust the royalty as a check against bad government. Now the answer is clear. Cakap is so cheap.

RPK has led us to Holland. No wonder he's so quiet now.

Malaysia's biggest problem...is their own people...no guts.....at this level when there is no police, judiciary, etc.....you are supposed to literally fight .....just like the Argentinians, Peru, many African countries, Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, almost all European countries, Indonesians, Phillipines, etc.......but if you just dont have the balls then learn tolive as if you are in Saudi Arabia or Singapore....then you must submit and relegate yourself to writing in blogs and sulking.....geeze.....have seen loosers ....but never the Malaysian type.....

The truth is finally REVEALED & the great man have SPOKEN!!!

The Sultan of Perak is known to many as a WISE MAN. Now, even Tuanku himself agree to BN forming the new State Govt. which means he agree that Pakatan Rakyat is indeed a LOAD OF RUBBISH.

Tuanku is fed-up with all the mess Pakatan is creating in Perak & the best way is too get rid of all these Pakatan moles is to expel them from Perak once & for all.

Agree anybody???

What happened to all those who hailed MACC when the law was passed and MACC formed? All these days I have been telling my wife that MACC is no different from ACA. The only thing that changed was 'ACA' was changed to 'MACC'.

This is no different from corporate restructuring, changing the balance sheet is easy but the thing that will save a company is real operational change, not just cosmetic balance sheet change. Think MAS before Idris Jala.

To all Pakatan Rakyat representatives & supporters in Perak,

SAYONARA, SAYONARA, BYE BYE, BYE BYE!!!

I foresee there will be many Pakatan Rakyat supporters getting bashed-up by those mighty FRU in Stadium Ipoh tonite. There SORE LOSING supporters will defy the warnings not to attend illegal gatherings.

Hahahahahahahaha!!! Ramai BABI PAKATAN RAKYAT akan disembelih malam ni. Kakakakakakakakakaka!!!

TOKZ - May I suggest you change your User ID to "TOKZIK" - because that's how your energy signature comes across - as pure poison! I suspect you're a member of Umno's Bad Loser Club, headed by Khir Toyol. Still can't accept that the rakyat have had enough of Umno's brand of corrupt misrule, hiding behind the race & religion card. I wish you a speedy extinction along with the evil, outdated politics you endorse.

Obviously things has happened so clearly. Truly a disappointing outcome. I for one will remember. Laughter for some, but truly sad day for many. Maybe they can have Perak for now, but the RAKYAT will have the nation back later, and we will have the last laugh.

UMNO terus Celaka... Tipu rakyat Malaysia....

Some compared this BN coup with Anwar... but...

Anwar Sept 16 claim was a bluff to save Perak PR government... The best defense is to attack... If there was no Sept 16 claim, Perak should fell earlier... maybe by August 31 as claimed by tajol Rosli... Why I called it as a bluff??? because to get 30 people is a huge tasks.... That's 21% of BN MPs... Impossible la... He did so just to make BN busy with MP and left Perak alone as Perak has the slimmest majority of all state government... BN only need to get 3 people to hop... so which is more easier.. 3 Adun or 30 MPs???

We all got brains.. so use it la...

What was the reason given by HRH Sultan Azlan Shah for not consenting to the request for dissolution of DUN and for fresh elections to be held? What's the basis? Shouldn't the right to call for fresh elections the perogative of the MB in the Chair? Are we back to a monarchial system of governance?

First and foremost BN does not have the majority. The three frogs are independents. Pakatan has the same number of assemblymen as BN ie 28.

So who said that BN has the numbers????

Starting today, I lost my respect and perhaps my loyalty to S. Azlan. Raja di Hilir is better eventhough he did some mistakes, but he merely demaged himself. While S. Azlan, you are indeed grab the people's right to decide their own government
