A Call to All Malaysians: Change This Federal Government!

Enough is enough! Abuses of public funds, abuses of political power granted by the people, threats, murders, deaths, corruption, nepotism, arrogance, feudalism, parochialism, religious and race extremism and more.

But the people are left to rot, neglected and abused. Most of the top leaders are living in lavish mansions but the people are treated like beggars. These leaders act like supreme leaders who hand out 'goodies' and other crumbs.

MCA Ong Tee Keat, a senior federal minister, made a shocking revelation on how he was threatened and frustrated by some politicians and businessmen who wanted to stop him from making a full disclosure on the PKFZ fiasco.

Ong should help us to do the right thing - make history with his leadership and make a lasting change in this country, for the next generations, for his children and grandchildren. Support a true reform of the federal leadership.

Stop the rot now! We need to change the federal government. There must be a change of power at least once for the country to become a more vibrant democracy. This is not a partisan call. This is a DESPERATE CALL to the nation to rise above itself.

To Najib, keep your miserable 'goodies'. WE WANT CHANGE!

Post your comments on this blog if you support this call!

Change can be and will be painful for some. But like the Chinese saying " Short pain is better than long pain" we need to muster real courage and go for it.

If what Ong revealed is true, then we all know that even a full minister is treated like a nobody by people that's well-connected. So, conclusion? We are basically run by mafias/mob/gangsters.

PDRM,SPR and now more so MACC will be looked down upon by me. I have loss whatever trust and hope for these institution for I know they work for their political masters and not for the rakyat.

That's a brave call, Khoo and I don't think it's too late for a change. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!

R.I.P Teoh.

Yes. It is time to change a new government. We need a new political party to lead this country to a new direction.
For the sake of future generation, the initiative for change should start by now...

MCA Ong's statement have to be taken with a "pinch" of salt.

Perhaps he made that comment to clear himself from this PKFZ issue...!!!
Did he lodge a police report...??

"To catch a crook, one must think like a crook".....!!!!!

Very, very sad about this Teoh's case.
Sigh..........!!!

Can you imagine while falling & you "know" you gonna die.........
Can we imagine...?????

I feel so angry too.
And yet the "crooks" are being supported for....!!!!

What bloody screw up attitude we have....!!!!

YES, I want change. And I want it now. If this government does not reform and change itself ( most unlikely ) we should change it. These BN-Umno politicians are so fearful of losing power, they will do anything and everything despicable to keep their positions. They are shameless, untrustworthy, corrupt, immoral and not fit to be our leaders.

i support your call. but i dont want PR to rule the nation.

i want BN with UMNO as the spearhead to rule this nation. not with the same old thinking, attitude, but with new and modern and transparent attitude.

same organization + different people = same results? => if u think of this way, then u are not fit to talk about change. all u want is PR to rule.

will u support my call for a renew + refresh + modern + transparent + for all people umno - BN governance?

slim.

Yes we desperately need change in Malaysia. The people are crying out for change of government. Corruptions, injustices, murders, threats etc. etc. are rampantly happening in 1Malaysia. The innocent are being persecuted and prosecuted. 50 years is enough. We don't wait another 50 years to change when we may not even survive as a society. The time for change is now. God have mercy upon Malaysia and bless Malaysia

marcus63 said...

to everyone (whether you are a hardcore bn supporter or pakatan supporter),
many of you are misinterpreting kaypeng's call to change = change to pakatan only, which means the demise of the current political regime which is umno/bn. this is totally wrong. what we need to change is a regime of 1-party rule which breeds dictatorship surrounded by little warlords who take the law unto their own hands.
what we need is a 2-party system where there is checks and balances, and the party in power cannot abuse its position.
if umno/bn can buy this 2-party principle, we do not mind them to be still in power; but they have time and time again quashed this mirror of their performance. therefore the only way for umno/bn to see the light is for them to lose power at least 1 term, then they will change for the better.
look at taiwan kmt. they lost 2 terms but have come back stronger, and benefited the taiwanese people so much so that they are primed to survive this deep recession in much better shape than their peers in japan which is another 1-party ruled nation. in many ways, umno/bn is much better organized than pakatan but the egos of its leaders are holding back malaysia's competitiveness.
if you truly want malaysia to achieve 2020, and not keep falling back in all the world's competitive indices such as university performance, human productivity etc. you should abandon all partisanship and support a change from 1-party to 2-party system.

...I agree! we must opt for change !!...Yes PKR may not have the experience !! ...but how far worse can we go from here ? At least they are sincere in wanting to serve the rakyat ? BN is already rotten to the core & gangreous plus behaving much like a rabid dog! we need to put it to sleep so that it can cause no more harm to our beloved nation.

Yes enough is enough. There have been many reports made to the relevant enforcement bodies by the opposition but no action taken b'cause of BN/UMNO connection. The dentist has constructed Istana Khir just like Istana Zakaria and this Toyal spend lavishly touring Europe and Timbaktu with his family and maid and he also speaks rotten english and have been a MB for 8yrs.Why does the MACC probe on his accumulation of wealth??? Why go after small money against PR legislators. It appears conspiracy to bring down PR rule in the state. We Rakyat are not stupid and we see what is happening. Change the Federal rule now. Change, Change, Change

KKP, the rakyat wanted change as demonstrated on March 08! if BN din cheat they wud hv lost the grip on federal govt! it's a tough call unless the rakyats' sentiments shift tsunami_kally to overcome the mechanism of electorial frauds! we are getting more & more frustrated day in day out with this BN govt!

Yes, we are long overdue.

Sickens me to the core!

Fifty over years is a long time and trillions has gone into the pockets of politicians ! Especially into the pockets of the pariah Mahathir and his children. Crumbs to the poor Malays and the Malaysians, in the name of NEP !

It is time to change, period.
But no Anwar must be included at all under any circumstances. For aseveral years he was waiting to be invited back into UMNO after he was out prison before he sat up the new opposition.
Too bad he was not invited back to UMNO as there were and still are too many UMNO members too wanted the place he has been eyeing. He would have been more than happy to accept the invitation if he was 'invited' back. But the providence of God or Allah has it that his lust for the back side is too tempting.
He says it is political motivated, he will be back in prison and banned from politics for good.
Pick someone else except those from UMNO, they are too corrupted to change or reform. Corruption is in UMNO's blood
they don't understand the word to serve the people. Change we must, to have hope for our children's future !!

83 seats the Pakatan holds...but what's the use....they are a bunch of sissys...even if they hold the Federal government they will be sissys and screw up the country.....

One brave General is worth 10,000 soldiers...

That in a nutshell is the problem in Pakatan....they dont have that brave General....

Dear All Malaysians,

Just stop analysing things. We do not have the time for that anymore. Just CHANGE THE FEDS as the author here suggested. We will see to it that the new government will be a responsible one.

Just look at Pakistan, we are seeing a country moving towards a true democracy... Pakistan! And yet Malaysia is digressing!

Toyol - new finance minister
KJ - deputy finance minister 1
Ting - DFM 2
Taib - DFM 3
Bung - DFM4
Samy - DPM1 + Works minister
Koh - DPM2
Kayeas - DPM3
Ahmad Pendatang - Home minister
JJ - Foreign Minister

Anything lesser i wont support your call

I agree with Marcus63 of 12.07pm that what our nation need is a two party political system - I check you and you check me type of principle. This will be an effective method in ensuring that politicians will not become wealth conscious but will be more people focussed in their objectives. And this will certainly benefit all stratas of Malaysian society.

ceechoo said...

CHANGE - ABSOLUTELY. And as I have been telling my relatives and friends, the only way to CHANGE is by kicking out this despotic government. BN IS THE PROBLEM. Remove them from federal and state power. Then EC, Police, MACC, even the Civil Service can be overhauled. When GE13 comes, VOTE PR and wipe the slate clean.

Anon: "i want change too but not another bn style party .Change YES,NO to DAP(same as UMno)."

This is exactly the kind of mentality that screwed us up and will cause Be-eNd to continue ruling Bolehland perpectually...

Don't be afraid to CHANGE, even if it comes with a price to pay, as CHANGE always do come with a price... Let's kick Be-eNd out, Give PR (incl. DAP) a chance to rule at federal level, if PR can't perform, then we vote them out too, that way we can show to the politicians who is the real BOSS, now u get my drift?

Kay Peng,
You want a change of Govt.? Please go and tell that to Ong Tee Kiat and Ling Leong Siak and those rich chinese millionairs. It is your own kind that insist wanting to retain the BN Govt.for their personal interest. So, what shit are you talking about. Your father and grandfather who voted in the BN govt in past elections are also to be blame for Teo's death.I hope you have got the guts to allow my comment to be published otherwise you have NO INTEGRITY and also working like a hypocrite. Let the others read my comment and judge for themselves. Perhaps they are not as naive as you. Use your head NOT you heart with emotions.I am very angry for the young man's loss and more angry for traitor's within our Chinese community who bent to support the BN Govt. Did any rich chinese towkey lift a finger to extend any financial assistance to the bereaved family of Teo? NONE,THAT I HAVE READ IN YOUR BLOG or any other blogs.Did any rich and powerful chinese leaders other than the chinese political leaders come out in support of Teo? NONE! Did any rich chinese towkey attended his funeral? NONE! Where is Vincent Tan, Quek Kwee Leng, Ching and company when the hour of need is nigh???? Kay Peng you don't talk cock in you blog and paint yourself to be fighting for the people. You have not dare even to condemned any of the rich and powerful chinese leaders who have until NOW have NOT whispered a single word of support for Teo. So, what shit are you talking about changing the Govt. You MUST be dreaming,la. You can keep on dreaming until kingdom come and NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING will come out of it.Your compass is pointing at the wrong direction. You seems to blame the whole system without realising that you and your chinese community had failed the country and nation. I very much to see my comment published as I feel this is what I owed to Teo Beng Hock and his family. And don't be a coward!!

200709 Wa Ai Ting,
You sounds like a BN man.
You are barking at the wrong tree.
Any way we want change, like the US 2party systems. PR are not well experienced but they will learn as they go along, put BN on toes, that is first thing in our mind. BN think nobody can shake them so they continue to be pocket minded. I am waiting with my vote, GE13, the lucky no. going to change Malaysia for better Malaysia.

I am all for change but sometime some people seem to be blind, deaf and brainless. They don't seem to know or understand what is going on in this country. Especially those MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PPP, marginalised, discriminated, aparthied and 2nd, 3rd class people still they are in BN.
