On the PKFZ, Ong Must Not Walk Alone

MCA president Ong Tee Keat today filed a RM500 million defamation suit against BN Backbenchers Club chairperson Tiong King Sing over the latter's claim of giving RM10 million to the minister. The suit was motivated by Tiong's allegation that he had 'donated' RM10 million to Ong.

This is a funny story. If Tiong had made a donation and expected nothing back in return what is the motive for Tiong to turn the donation into a credibility issue for Ong? Is the BNBBC chairman and Bintulu MP expecting his favour to be returned in the PKFZ expose.

Many Malaysians may not be motivated to defend or support Ong in this issue because he is the president of a BN component party. I am equally baffled why Ong has continued to defend and tolerate UMNO's racist policies and statements. But this is entirely a different issue.

The fact is Ong is merely doing his job to investigate the PKFZ financial fiasco which is threatening to pull a dark cloud over the country. Without his commitment to dig deep into the issue, it would not have been possible for us to find out that there may be a potential breach of financial integrity which had lead to an over billing of RM500 million to RM1 billion.

On the PKFZ, Ong has obviously risked it all. Based on my current assessment, it will be a tough battle for Ong to keep his parliamentary seat (Pandan) in the next general election. I am sure many parties are out for his blood and he will end up having to pay a high price for his political career.

MCA's insistence to continue working with UMNO may be a bad political calculation. But it must not discount the fact that Ong's good work to honour his commitment to account for the PKFZ fiasco is admirable.

For this, he must not walk alone.

Many rich and powerful people are using the judiciary (defamation suits) to silence critics and to shut out people from reporting their wrongdoings. I sympathize with Ong because I am a victim of such devious act as well which wanted to put me in a difficult financial position.

Ong will have to drive on winding and bumpy road to win this RM500 million defamation case against Tiong. To believe that Ong receive RM10 million from Tiong for what? Maybe this is 10% for the approval of RM1 billion to pay Kual Dimensi. Why is UMNO keeping silent over this national issue? Where is MACC and the Police? Just proceed with the investigation. Why are this two cowboy's department unprepared? Maybe waiting for Dato Mohd.Nazri to bark or issue Taxi permit for the 2 cowboys department to act. With our Judiciary or Jungle Law system both are found not guilty. Settle out of court. Sandiwara.

You Are Not Alone lyrics
Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone

'Lone, 'lone
Why, 'lone

Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then forever can begin

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
For you are not alone

Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there

You are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone...

No doubt I am not a supporter of MCA but on a individual basis OTK has done sometihng that gain my upmost respect, for now, espeacially on the PKFZ issues.

With regards to the 10 million donations, unless and until Tiong can come with some concrete evidences that the sum has been duly given to OTK, I will still go for OTK as innocent and wrongly victimised.

Let's wait and see on the outcome...

Cheers

Which MCA is honourable. If he is he would not be in BN and be tainted by the sins of the coalition.
Even at this moment MCA is campaigning for a tainted candidate in Permatang Pasir.
No integrity, no ethics. In any case, MCA is a party with generals, hangers-on, parasites and those who have some benefits but without soldiers.
The Chinese have given up on MCA.

I believe Ong Tee Keat took the RM10 mil donation, most probably through agents. I do not believe Tiong's RM10 mil donation is for nothing because I tried asking strangers to give me RM10 for nothing and none gave me any money.

Unfortunately RM10 mil CASH is hard to trace, unlike cheque which is traceable. Lucky Ong Tee Keat.

Ong belongs to "lain-lain" so he needs to walk alone. Pl remeber Malaysian constition dun recognise chinaman or hinduman

Ong should have taken MCA out of BN but Ong personal interests over ride national interest and now Ong if not in trouble is in a very discomfort zone.
Kalau saya Melayu telling China bodoh for not taking the opportunity to change the nation for good and supportive of the current wind of change, this Ong is one of the stupid guy. sorry brother for such words and you bet PM will not be bothered whether Ong will sink very soon or not.
Ong will walk alone and perish and forgotten...you bet brother!!!

Please spare us the mental torture where a smart alec would suggest sack the gardener, office boy and a clerk to take responsibility over this mega fail and close case.

OTK must be given all the moral support. Though there is no honour among his colleagues, the people are behind him.

Who else but him dare to do this expose?

This PKFZ fiasco, is a typical case of politics and money - both of which, men can do without.

But it is not as easy as I scatch your back and you do mine, because of the financial-political ramifications involved.

May the truth prevail and the defender of the truth will also prevail with honour and dignity.

This is not about BN, not about MCA, this is about Malaysia and Rakyat. Tee Keat should not be walking alone. Every Malaysian should be with him.
Dear Datuk Tee Keat, we are with you.

There is no honour among thieves - and now OTK have to stick it out alone. What do you expect from UMNO / Najib?? The UMNO PM has so much scandals to hide, he don even dare to take the foreign news correspondents to court for the things they write about him and his wife. He got no time for OTK la, the MCA geng will have to sort it themselves. Afterall, all the money already masuk pocket, you think they want to return the money back meh??

This is where no other PM can top Mahathir. Despite what I have said about him, his leadership is really strong. He puts his whole house in order, including that of BN. Call it control or whatever, he would have made very sure everyone stick to his script and everyone of its parties have to come out and voice their support for each other. He always go for 'win-win' situation. Seems like this UMNO PM is doing the opposite of what Mahathir would have done. Always 'lose-lose'. I look forward to seeing the end of B-End!

If OTK has taken the RM10 m, he would not have gone all out to nail Tiong.

This is one simple logic I can think of, so give the benefit of doubt to OTK.

Furthermore, it takes courage and character to expose the PKFZ fiasco, so let's walk with OTK!

I am no MCA admirer but in this case, OTK is a lot more believable than TKS. The Kuala Dimensi man was a struggling financially and indebted to financial institutions till the PKFZ bonanza came along and hey presto!, he is drowning in cash. you figure it out.

The people in Malaysia must support OTK for his endless efforts to dig into the PKFZ scandal.

He is the only minister that allows an agency under his portfolio to be investigated in such an open and transparent manner.

Kudos to OTK!

Ong Tee Keat is not walking alone. The people support him. It is the selfish self serving MCA members who are holding back. What is wrong with you MCA people?
