This is probably one of the funniest pre-new year jokes I have ever heard. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (MACC) is seeking a formal request from private investigator P. Balasubramaniam to enable the graft busters to probe allegations he has made about the circumstances surrounding the death of Altantuya Shaariibuu.
Bala has made a series of sensational claims that Najib knew murdered Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu and his brother Nazim and a businessman linked to the prime minister’s wife made him retract a statutory declaration on the case.
Earlier, he had indicated his willingness to cooperate with the MACC and conveyed his intention via an email.
Bala's lawyer, Americk, is puzzled with the latest response from MACC;
"I am not sure whether we can consider the MACC's response as positive as all they have asked is for me to reiterate what I have stated earlier in a formal format.
"In this day and age I am not sure why the MACC consider an email not 'formal'."
MACC sounds like any other typical government agencies which lacked the initiative to perform their duty.
They should at least follow the proactiveness of the police. The police jumped into action when Penang CM and Dap Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng called Teoh Beng Hock's death a 'murder' instead of a 'homicide'.
The police did not have to wait for Lim to send them a request to probe him.
So, is MACC going to conduct a probe or not?
PM Najib, Nazim and Rosmah should lodge police reports against Bala's very damning allegations. How can this be frivolous?

Maybe, we the Rakyat, should just solve the case for them. A case like this one is beyond their mental capability.
But we must commend them for the obscene haste when it comes to allegations against PR. They wasted no time in investigating an allege RM2400 corruption case based on an anonymous blog and rumours, resulting in the death (under mysterious circumstances) of TBH. We will remember this.

1. Case was throw out by court after submitted years ago, becuase it was not written in Bahasa Malaysia.
2. The whole PDRM felt intimidated by an ordinary citizen.
3. 2 jet engines lost in TUDM base, lost of fighter jet engines? more shocking it takes years to discover and even shocking they asked the PDRM to probe.
4. MACC need PI Bala to write in formally in Bahasa Malaysia, A4 paper, white color, black ink in double spacing....

Recently I watched some old school documentaries on Russian History. It seems that we are living in an old age political situation that is akin to the era of JStalin. Since in power he was actually at war with his own people by falsifying selective prosecution for them to be sent to labor camps aka Gulag. Most of his political rivals were pinned down with numerous ambigous reasons that led them to the "wall". We may not see anything similar in the level of the grotesque torturing, but the tactics for selective prosecution were the same. The moral of the history shows us that detention agencies and judiciaries are used as a tool for such purpose.
Worse still Stalin was given the national funeral ceremony upon his death. But people have forgotten that he took away almost 4million (another 3million from Ukrain & thousands in Poland) of the innocent souls, far worse than the nazis.
hahahahaaa... isn't this clear that it's all a cover up?? The allegations are there, the 2 SDs should have already been THE urgent cue to investigate and probe further, but nothing.

This MACC is now being managed by 'cock' people.That is why they talk 'cock'.They are not real professionals but just to warm the seat and pleased their masters and received their gaji at end of month. These govt officers like to attend meetings(bcos easy to past time and yet got allowance).

all said, i dont think bala is stupid enough to present himself in person to make that statement..if they insist on a formal request, send a formal letter and then we see what more excuses they can come up with..
