PERC 1 - Muhyiddin 0

Muhyiddin has asked us to ignore the PERC report, calling it a nonsence. Interestingly the government has to shoulder a burden of proof that we are not falling into instability or fast becoming a butt of joke.

Why?

1) We bought buses are not road worthy. The operator of RapidKL spent RM93 million to buy over 1,294 used buses from two bus companies in 2003, only to have most of them consigned to the scrap heap two years later. Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd bought the buses from DRB-Hicom and Park May Bhd in 2003 but 1,139 of the buses were deemed unfit for operations and were de-commissioned in November 2005. No wonder the hype about improving public transport in Klang Valley.

2) We bought fighter jets which had killed more pilots on training than on combat missions.

3) We established public institutions which cannot understand the concept of separation of power and public integrity.

4) We bought naval ships which will never be allowed to sail.

5) Now, we bought a submarine which cannot dive. Malaysia’s first submarine, a European-made Scorpene delivered last September, has developed problems that make it unfit for diving, Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said today. The KD Tunku Abdul Rahman sailed into a grand reception last year as the first of two commissioned from French contractor DCNS and Spain’s Navantia for a total of 3.4 billion ringgit.

Muhyiddin needs a lesson on Malaysia. Care to help educating him on our failings?

The Submarine cannot dive, what bout the murder relating to the submarine, and the prime minister's refusal to clear his name in connection with that murder. He only comes out and denies it. The integrity of the highest office in this land has been compromised timeand time again, and what is a nation without integrity?

Malaysia is a land of plenty. Plenty of natural resources. also plenty of plunderers and robbers. Plenty of bull and others. The DPM is talking through the nose. He does not care about what is happening on the ground. He is interested in his position and own agenda. this is the real picture. Engines are missing , new submarine cannot dive, pay RM 98 million for junk buses, Pkfz scandal etc. Who cares what is happening ? Jokers are running this nation so do not expect much> In singapore . the best brain are chosen to run the country, hence the nation is doing extremely well.

Is it that Muhyiddin, and assorted government officials, do not know the true state of affairs? Or that they are just trying to cover up with denial after denial, as many allege?

It would be good for politicians to be reminded of what Abraham Lincoln said:

You can fool all the people some of the time,

and some of the people all the time,

BUT YOU CANNOT FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE, ALL THE TIME.

(emphasis mine)

Sorry Brother. Lets not waste time on wasted sperms. The sad news is he is our DPM. I am right now in HK and this report surely gives an impact for the company I work for. I almost convince them we need an office in KL but now I am the biggest joker in the office.

Whats the problem, cannot dive we buy againlah until it can dive..I'm sure if we keep buying one fine day sure got one can dive.

Remember the ship built at a Lumut shipyard for the Navy that cannot float? Now our submarine cannot dive. What a joke. And he says that we can still operate it. Yes it can be use as a sitting duck for target practise. I am so embarassed.

Looking at this guy, he is just, i repeat just fit to be my office boy. Amazing we have characters like this specimen running the country for that matter. Politically, he talks cock all the time. Unbelieveable!!!! He is a typical Umnoputra. (But, dont get me wrong, of course there are good and reasonable Umnoputras. They are rare species and sidelined). Never ever wrong, haughty, racialistic skin coupled with a bird's brain. Anyway, what do one expect from Bolehland??
My chief clerk Asmadi can reason and utter politically better than him in all aspects.

We do not do all these things you described, it is the works of UMNO -BN goons and decision all along. haha...

I was convulsed with laughter on reading through your list of Incomparable Incompetence in decision-making.

But I quickly sobered up and plummeted into dark despair when I realized that it's you and I and all tax-paying Malaysians who are paying the bills for all these hugely costly mistakes made by bureaucrats/civil servants and ministers.

Collaterally Damaged

He exemplifies the politician who sprouts nonsense and conveniently not bother to refute the PERC report at all. Such arrogance is hubris.

This will further erode confidence to invest in the country given the incompetence and the ostrich with its head in the sand syndrome.

Well done for instilling racist remarks in your blog. I dare you not to publish this comments because you fear for your life whatever its worth hahaha

While we may not agree with the report but we should not completely brush off the report and continue to live in the state of denial.

1) Obviously a bailout. If indeed it was bought from Park May...

2) Well that happens in peace time. If a country in peace looses 1 pilot every 5 years during peace time, its pretty decent. From your tone, its obvious you expect pilots during wartime to achieve 0% casualty rate. Anyway, The Hawk are good fighters. The Hornets even better. The Mig are very very reputable interceptors.

3) Yeah, this its a bummer. What to do... Malaysians mah. Do, establish, built, make, then? Let it rot. Everytime we need something we start a new thing, not even bothering to check if we already have something that can do it.

4) If you are referring to the Meko 100 NGPV, yes even if they're sailing now, they're useless. No weapons, ridiculously underpowered caterpillar engines, not nearly enough helicopters to equip every ship and as blind as a dodo.

5)I disagree. Its expected. We're talking about a sub that probably did not have tropical waters in mind. Anyway, you buy a car, it has problems you go back to the manufacturer. Under warranty he fixes your car. The same with the subs. They're under warranty.

And no the PERC report is inaccurate. The country is not on the verge of a civil collapse. Reason why they wrote the way they did is because everybody's favourite punching bag, Mr A has been doing a lot of "romobongan sambil belajar" and bad mouthing Malaysia overseas.

I can tell you this. The risk of a middle east war is much higher than the risk of Malaysia collapsing. Also the probability (yeah, let's apply some logic) of Israel bombing Iran's nuclear facilities is higher than the risk of Malaysia falling into civil disorder. Furthermore, the probability of Malaysia cutting water supplies to Singapore is also higher.

Mr Khoo, I appreciate your opinions and efforts, but perhaps a little more logical deduction aka analysis before making a list. Don't be like Uncle Lim claiming the country would have overpaid for the Cougars when we obviously am not. If you want to talk about things military, don't be like uncle Lim and not know the difference between a CSAR bird and a troop transport.
