Reader's Feedback on the Recent Sex Video

PKR, PR AND THE SEX VIDEO

Just like the current sodomy trial, this latest Anwar sex video episode shows how polarised and close-minded people are along political lines and beliefs.

It is both amazing and amusing how so many people are incredibly and unbelievably quick to condemn and vilify the video without so much as a glimpse of it. The most sorry of this lot are the PKR and other PR politicians. Surely good sense and prudence dictate that they withhold any comment about the video’s authenticity until and unless they themselves had seen it.

But, no, sirrreee. They rushed in with denials which can only be explained by a belief on their part that their leader is a person blessed with infallibility and thus sheltered from the usual human frailties to commit any form of sin. On the planet that they dwell, Anwar Ibrahim is a chaste saint, truly a gift from God to the people from Malaysia. All their critical faculties go out through the window and there is no space within their sensibilities to ponder that maybe, just maybe, their leader may not be what he seems or claims to be. Because of this ingrained attitude, just as the sun can be predicted to rise from the east, they too can be predicted to meet any accusation of wrongdoing against Anwar with their own unsupported, unsubstantiated and increasingly wild conspiracy theories of how their saintly leader is being unfairly targeted. It’s beginning to sound like the droning of a broken record – and getting tiresome.

The crucial point here is not the video itself, the veracity of which is unknown until it is seen by a wider audience. The point here is the manner in which the PR politicians are responding to this latest challenge. In being so blindly and stupidly devoted to the line that ‘Anwar Ibrahim can do no wrong’ and so blinkered by their hatred by Umno that they cannot think objectively any more, they risk disenchanting the voters, even the ones who are not necessarily pro-BN.

Yes, government leaders at times insult the people’s intelligence in justifying their actions. PR politicians too, as it is becoming clearer now, are not immune from doing the same thing in their efforts to defend Anwar’s reputation. They may just end up damaging the opposition more than any sex video could. After all, governing a country is much too important to be left to unquestioning and uncritical devotees of a personality cult.

Dear KKP,

Sometimes it is much easier to sit down with your keyboards as compared to that someone who had been thrown mud after mud by those who so fiercely wanted to kill his character off. Yes, ideally he should sit still and smile if he is innocent but as a human being, tell me, can you? I am not for or against him but let us look at the incident from a perspective of a normal human being. I don't like a freaking bit of politicians in this country and that includes PM Najib!

Cant really blame them. When a certain group has many history of telling lies, would you not naturally bend not to believe them the next time they make similar accusation?

Whether Anwar did it or not, it is his personal matter. If at all this act took plcae, it is behind the walls. It is the person who invaded the privacy of another is the culprit.

Low-grade and self serving politicians are gambling away our lives! I am seriously worried about my childrens future.

Sir, is it possible then if someone alleges you to be the man in the video clip, and this is done to Anwar by none other than the mainstream media, you would keep quiet? Perhaps you have forgotten that the incredible Datuk T has said he would not provide the clip to the police and wanted to hang on to it just a while more. So until he feels fit to share the clip, we should just accept whatever has been implied? Are we so naive and restricted in our thoughts that we should think that nothing is implied?

Why not question those whom have not watched the clip and yet willing to condemn Anwar? Even those remaining quiet are not necessarily innocent, if they have a duty to say something. Isn't a man innocent until found guilty? Alas, in the world of politics or business, reputations are lost by just mere allegations. More so, when they are not rebutted. Why would Zharrif tie the 'victim's' hands to reply? Why do the same to those who know Anwar or trusts him? Why assume the worst of someone and not the best of the same person?

To me, its just the different sides of the coin. One side has as much say as the other. But I give far greater credence to Anwar, the man, than to a shadow, like Datuk T. I may still be proven wrong if the clip proves true. But I won't be proven craven should it prove false.

Hi KHOO,

This recent SEX TAPE is indeed EXPLOSIVE. This will certainly add more SPICE & HERBS into Malaysia's political cuisine.

Now that the so-called DATUK had been revealed & RAHIM THAMBY CHIK-SHAZRYL ESKAY dare CONFIRM the man in the tape is indeed ANWAR IBRAHIM...we ought to set-up a RCI to determine the TRUTH. 'The rakyat' deserve & must know the truth!!!

What's even more DARING & BOLD is that the DATUK TRIO welcomes Pakatan Rakyat leaders such as LIM KIT SIANG, WAN AZIZAH & NIK AZIZ to be part of the panel. DATUK TRIO even invite FOREIGNERS to be part of the panel. Thus, I believe the RCI findings will NOT be a BIASED one & I somehow sense there could be some TRUTH behind DATUK TRIO's allegation.

What PUZZLE me most is that leaders such as LIM KIT SIANG & other Pakatan Rakyat leaders are QUESTIONING the POLICE instead. Can't these GOONS understand that it's MORE IMPORTANT to determine whether is the man is his sexual act ANWAR IBRAHIM or not??? Whether the viewing session of the tape in Carcosa is legal or illegal is NOT that IMPORTANT. Somehow these Pakatan Rakyat leaders simply couldn't understand the word "PRIORITY". They can't distinguish what's IMPORTANT and what's SECONDARY IMPORTANT or is that they simply choose to IGNORE what's IMPORTANT as to try AVOID the topic??? How lame & sad, right???

I look forward to a RCI pertaining to this. This will enable 'the rakyat' to know whether should they continue to VOTE for Pakatan Rakyat or not. This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT instead of barking whether did the Police take action for this & that.

"Address the issue rather than to avoid or divert it should be the way!!!"

All our money wasted on RCIs, foreign pathologist, stupid court case dramas. Nothing beneficial for the rakyat. Thanks to BN for organising these serial dramas and silently emptying the treasury.

Why is this KY character going all over the place flaming his nonsense?

He/She writes: "Can't these GOONS understand that it's MORE IMPORTANT to determine whether is the man is his sexual act ANWAR IBRAHIM or not???"

Oh really? Really, who cares! It could be Anwar, or (more convincingly) it wasn't Anwar. Isn't there more important things to do with the country then trying to figure out who bonks who? Sheeesh! What a nutcase!

What do you expect from the quartered cooked corrupted Umno morons ? What else can you expect these goons to come up with something only limited to their intelligences or do you expect the pigs to roar like elephants ? That is why they are what they are and why Malaysia is where they are ? About to go bankrupt and if not for the black gold Malaysia would have gone bankrupt years ago. Just keep borrowing to cover their deficits year after years. Typical of what Umno is, it is in their genes ! The by products of incest relationships, as stated by the grand son of the untouchable pariah shenanigan Mahathir in his book.

I used "KY" all the time in my acts but what reminds me is that the KY I use has been "faithfully" serving me "well"

Oops, am I referring to the right "KY" brand I am talking about?

If not, otherwise, I should now discern the "KY" properly; whether it serves my purpose any more in the course to determine if it is just one "item" I use to do my "job" as the "mouthpiece".

Ooops, I let the cat out of my bag far too soon. In fact, I hope by this, no one would insist there should be a great call for a RCI on whether "KY" should be used or banned...for not serving its "purpose"

The mere talk of a sex video in a conservative country (albeit the blatant sale of x rated pirated discs) is actually a form of double defilement.

By trying to ascertain whether your neighbour had sex with a women not his lawful wife, you are entering into the privacy of his bedroom. Why? Just because he is supposed to be a politician?

BN is trying to defile our consciousness with the waste of purile obsession over a video that is actually an invasion into a person's life. In any case, it is an act of pornography to even view it.

The second defilement is the defilement of polticial discourse. Where is the debate over policies and reforms? The BN strategy is that you can't talk about economics and political reforms with a person whose personal live is morally unsound. Well, this dirty tactic is likley to bring down the nation if every politician resorts to/condones the spying of people's private lives.

In the UK or the US, you would be mocked by the press or man in the street for even trying to vilify a man based on a sex video. How base and profound indeed.

Zhariff is being very ignorant of coy. PKR and PR are just working in unison to support their leader. It does not mean that their leader is God or blameless. This sex video is an obvious attack during an important time - Sarawak election. Name me a politician who does not have a skeleton in the closet. This attack stink and Malaysia is going to the dogs.

Stop Press!!! Just got this mail from ?????
“Some updates from my Pakatan source on the new sex scandal video…

– The man in the tape is not Anwar… that much is sure… but he looks very similar… but was well shot by Malaysia’s top flim maker…?

- This sex video was actually in Barisan’s potential weapons to be used in 13th General Elections.

- But what made them dust it off in a hurry and use it now… it’s got to do with Sarawak state elections.

- BN’s internal polling revealed that BN will be losing far too many seats in the state elections due to anger towards Taib Mahmud.

- BN’s internal polling shows that Taib’s party PBB itself is projected to lose about 50% of its seats… and SUPP will lose all it’s seats etc.

- They figured BN will still win… but with a much reduced majority… lost is 2/3 majority and even just win by around 55-60% majority (As predicted by Raja Petra in his video).

BN needs to win S’wak big time in order to keep as many Parliament seats in 13th GE.

- So Najib and Muhyiddin both went to see Taib in Sarawak about 2 weeks ago… never have the PM and deputy PM gone to visit a state together.

- They went to pressure Taib to resign… and appoint a caretaker CM before state elections… hoping with Taib leaving… people will be less angry and they can still win handsomely.

- Taib… it seems assured them he will consider it seriously… but… Taib threw a shocker.

- He sent off Najib and Muhyiddin at the airport… as soon as the plane took off… Taib called for a press conference in the airport itself.

- He announced that he will dissolve the state assembly next week… and will remain as CM… and will retire after the elections after a transition period to enable the new CM to get up to speed.

- Najib and Muhyiddin got the shocking news… after they landed in KLIA. Taib just showed them the finger.

- Since the state assembly dissolution is announced… nothing can be done… and since Pakatan is getting stronger by the day in S’wak. Something needs to be done.

- They had to dust off Anwar’s purported sex tape and destroy PKR’s credibility hoping that people will be wary of opposition.

- In a hurry… talk about dumb asses trying to frame people without goofing up.

- The rooms that was used to screen the tape to reporters at Carcosa was booked… of all people… by Risda… a federal govt agency.

- Risda’s chairman is Rahim Thamby Chick… the guy who raped an underaged girl once… ( and saved by a Bell – a Ding Dong named Mahathir).

- And the Datuk is also strongly linked to UMNO.

- Then they tried to lure PKR MP’s to jump ship by showing them the video and of course monetary rewards.

What is really funny about this is that…

- The room in Carcosa was actually booked by Ketua Umno Bhg Bukit Gantang, who is also special officer to Tan Sri Rahim Thamby Chik.

Paid for it by credit card and worse of all… are you ready for this…

he asked for a corporate discount by using his Risda’s corporate account. (What a dumb ASS!)”
Your call.

There are more crimes in the streets to fight, more snatched thieves to catch, more drug pushers to be apprehended, more Ah Longs to be arrested, more corrupted VIPs and civil servants to be charged, more unsolved murders to be dealt with, and the list goes on and on for the many ills happening in Malaysia.
The big question that is always bothering us and is a source of ugly shame for this country is why our Home Ministry, the Royal Malaysian Police, the Attorney-General’s Chambers, the judiciary and so on, are spending so much time, effort and money on the sodomy and sex cases of one person.
Even in the so called video is Anwar, so what? Charge him with having sex with a prostitute? They have already charged him with sodomy. Now having sex with a woman also a crime? Tell me how many in the present cabinet of PM Najib Razak have not had sex with somebody other than their wives? What about Najib and that kampong guy “rice yatim”? So please, don’t be hypocrites. The rakyat at large doesn’t give a damn if Anwar wants to have some fun with a prostitute or even with his mistress, like Chua Soi Lek, the infamous pornstar politician who claim he represented the chinese. It really sucks when i heard this. As a matter of fact, men who are good in bed are good leaders – Bill Clinton and Silvio Berlusconi are two examples
