Can both Azmin Ali & Anwar Ibrahim Walk Their Talk on Transparency?

I support the call from lawyer-activist Haris Ibrahim who demanded that Azmin come clean and explain the corruption allegation to the public as his voters deserved the truth.

On Tuesday, blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin published classified investigation papers that Azmin was investigated by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) for graft in 1995.
Azmin was at that time a private secretary to then deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim and he was probed on claims that he was receiving RM15,000 monthly from tycoon Vincent Tan.
He also accused of living beyond his means, owning houses and cars worth about RM1.5 million and almost RM10 million in cash, while drawing a salary of RM2,400 monthly.
Raja Petra alleged that while the ACA had enough evidence to prosecute Azmin for corruption, the-then ACA director-general Shafee Yahaya decided not to act on it, at the behest of Anwar.
It is important for both Azmin and Anwar to come clean and clear up the matter if they want to lead Pakatan's team into the GE battle. Both of them are the top leaders in Pakatan Rakyat.
If the newly minted coalition is successful in its bid for federal power, Anwar is expected to be named a new prime minister and Azmin's his senior cabinet minister or deputy.
Anwar and Azmin have demanded the Najib administration to come clean on the Scorpene corruption scandal and the latter has decided to stay silence.
This is opportune time for Azmin to declare his family assets to clear his name and to create a good precedent for all top politicians to do the same if faced with a similar allegation. All politicians aspiring for public office must be transparent and accountable for their action.
Without an appropriate response this allegation will weight down on the leadership of both Azmin and Anwar. Unfortunately, none among the Pakatan top leadership has commented on the issue or asked Azmin to do the necessary.
There should not be an exception when comes to curbing and combating corruption. Both Azmin and Anwar should be judged using the same yardstick like the one used against Barisan Nasional leaders.
It takes an exemplary leadership and sincerity for Azmin and Anwar to prove to us that they are an asset and not a liability to Pakatan Rakyat.

The latest report featuring AZMIN ALI saying he's willing to pay the hefty price of being loyal to Anwar, including "ruining" family ties could well be my LAST STRAW in supporting Pakatan Rakyat further. I find Azmin's statement as "TOTALLY ABSURD". What's more if it's coming out from a person like AZMIN ALI whom is dubbed one of the top leaders in Pakatan Rakyat.

"Blood is thicker than water" & I'm curious to know what's going through this bonker's head (refering to Azmin). Regardless what happened, his mother brought him up, fed him fat & healthy & this bonker is now saying all these sort of rubbish in the public??? If NERAKA really do exist, one can assure AZMIN ALI would receive a 'RED CARPET' entry.

Secondly, who on earth is ANWAR IBRAHIM for Azmin to trade his family ties with??? His boss??? His master??? His lover??? Whatever it maybe..."No Excuse"!!!. Family ties is too PRICELESS to be traded with anything on earth. Without AZMIN's mother, there wouldn't be a bonker name AZMIN in the 1st place.

Thirdly, Pakatan Rakyat is surely 'losing ground' should they continue to allow these two bonkers name ANWAR IBRAHIM & AZMIN ALI to run the show. Since BERSIH 3.0, these 2 bonkers had been making a CLOWN out of themselves & it's time for other Pakatan Rakyat to tell them to "SHUT THE F@#k UP". The more they talk, the more shit is coming out of their arsehole.

Fourthly, I ain't SURPRISED with what RPK had wrote about AZMIN-ANWAR. I'm NOT at all amazed in any ways. Politicians regardless of sides are indeed 'CORRUPTED' in some ways or another. Politics is all about "MONEY" & money talks. ANWAR IBRAHIM & AZMIN ALI are "NOT" worthy & fit enough to lead Pakatan Rakyat. However, if these 2 bonkers can't, then, who should lead Pakatan Rakyat??? It seems Pakatan Rakyat had ran out of capable 'Malay' candidates/leaders to fill-up the gap should these 2 bonkers be put to hiatus.

Just remember where two came from and the type of training they received and the type of policies they advocated and most of all the life style they are used to !
Can the leopards change their spots ? Once a snake will always be a snake ! The scumbags and parasites in Umno should have been kicked out of Putrajaya decades ago but the thought that the replacement will be these Umno brought up leaders is just as bad. Nonetheless half a loaf is better than none, after all at present the scumbags and the parasites from Umno are out of control and are even getting from bad to worse. Really there is very little choice right now but just have to take a chance my fellow Malaysians and wait to see for the consequences are, vote the corrupted scumbags and parasites from Umnoo out of Putrajaya in this coming GE and then have all these snakes and the shenanigan Mahathir indicted for the atrocities they committed and send them to prison for life just like Mubarak and his cronies.

RPK alleged that ACA has enough evidence to prosecute Azmin? I don't think you read the documents leaked by RPK well. If they had enough evidence, why didn't the ACA's Senior Federal Counsel who is the DPP and who reported directly to the AG charge Azmin. RPK managed to mislead gullible people like you. He didn't show the full content of the minute sheets that contains the minutes between the Director of Investigation and the SFC. The truth is the IO recommended disciplinary action and it was agreed by the SFC.

You should call for a commission of enquiry to enquire why no charges were preferred against Azmin and why the AG charged Anwar for interfering with ACA investigation and later withdrew it; and also why the the then DG said there was no corrupt element in the Azmin's case. All they uncovered was that he was living beyond his means and was heavily in debt.

Why are we waiting? Why are they silent? What is there to twist and turn?

I think RPK got both Anwar and Azmin in a corner with this revelation.

RPK is a cheeky bastard. Smart.

But its good. He keeps the politicians (from both sides) in line.

That's the reason why RPK's blog is the BEST & MOST RELIABLE place to rely on political news. He takes "NO SIDES". If one is 'wrong', he'll 'bantai' them kaw-kaw regardless of party affiliation.

Malaysiakini, The Malaysian Insider, Papagomo & so on are just filled with CRAP & RUBBISH. These websites only publish news that favor their political paymasters. Even those so-called political analysts are also just the same. They only speak & write what their master(s) wants them to say but how could I blame when we all need $$$ to survive out there, right???

RPK's the best!!! Bold, Daring, Creative & "BERSIH". Now, this is what I call the TRUE BERSIH. Thus AMBIGA, could you please SHUT-UP & start learning from RPK instead of speaking/acting/taking orders from ANWAR IBRAHIM & KIT SIANG???

"LONG LIVE RAJA PETRA"

Read it again, ACA did not act on Azmin because Anwar at that time asked them not to. The current government won't budge on the issue as well cause they know its a card they can play against PKR in case thry are on unfavourable ground. Its all politics.

I wonder when Anwar started to vilify RPK, did he know that RPK is just as capable to source embarassing cases of him and his group.
